UGH!!!! Is this week over yet????

Sunday, I went over with the van and trailer to help Chris move 2 beds and get them set up at Chris' house. They decided to move back to Chris' house a few months ago since it didn't sell. Mom got the basement finished off with 2 nice sized bedrooms, a full bathroom, Living Room and a Kitchenette area. She noticed the past year that her health is not good and she is having a hard time walking up and down stairs. They are going to rent out her house till the market gets better to sell...so it may be a few years till that happens. I still hurt from the wonderful day.

Then Monday night I made dinner then about 3 hours later Marshall started to get sick and vomited like crazy. It was going on till late last night. About 11pm he said he can't take it anymore and we got the kids in the van and off to the ER. I finally got ahold of my mom around 1am and she came and got the boys so they stayed the night at her house till I got Marshall back home and settled. We finally got home around 5:30am and then I ran over to moms to get the boys. Needless to say NO ONE went to school today. The boys barely slept last night. We all grabbed our spots on the couch's and crashed till around 11am. UGH!!!

I hope I get some sleep tonight since I have my Interview at Andrew's School tomorrow. Then after the interview it's off to get AJ from school and get him to his eye doctor. He got his 1st pair of glasses last fall and he started last week telling me he is having a hard time seeing the board with his glasses on and in the front row. I have a feeling someone is gonna get new glasses tomorrow. I love the ones he has now....hopefully we will find something close. I will let everyone know how it goes tomorrow.

Tonight was Andrew's school Fundraiser night at Chuck E Cheese. We had a blast. Chris had Caleb, Marshall was feeling better and we were somewhat awake tonight. So here are a few cute pictures......

Anthony's New School Picture...

He got his pictures today and it turned out very nice. He always has this crappy fake grin that he usually uses and it drives me crazy. He didn't do the grin this time...YAY!!! I hate buying pictures before I see them but I'm really happy with these. Now I just can't wait to see Andrews.....

Some older pictures I can across today...

Marshall and Celebrated our 5th Anniversary in the Pocono Mountains at the Caesars Pocono Resorts. We stayed at the Cove Haven Resort....It was nice. We reserved the Champagne Tower by Cleopatra room. It was steep at $300 a night but now it runs about $425 a night so that was a bargain. There was so much to do that we didn't spend alot of time in our room. Here are the pictures I took. We had a pool in our room, the Whirlpool Champagne Glass and a heart shaped bed to sleep in.... I wanna go back one day soon.

Just wanted to post a few old pictures...

I found these the other day when I was going thru all the pictures I have on our Server. Marshall swears up and down that they are killing it. Like what does he know about servers and computers.....HEE HEE!! I just couldn't get over the fact that my kids are growing up and FAST. I found pictures of Andrew and his 2nd Christmas, Anthony just before his 9th Birthday missing his Front Teeth and finally a picture in a costume I had to pull together at the last minute for him to be George Washington. It turned out pretty good I think. Hope you enjoy....

One Crazy Week.......

So I had been looking for a job the past 3 months now and got offered a position with Our School District 49 as a Substitute Teachers Assistant. Not sure how many times I will get called but hoping enough to pay the bills. I need to at least 4 days a week inorder to do it....Not sure that will work out. I talked to the Office Staff today and let them know I will be on the list Friday. I think I already have a job lined up at Andrew's school. That would be COOL!!! I signed up for any and every school in the district which means I could be driving into the Boonies to work. I went to fill out paperwork and get my fingerprints done. AJ was not happy when I told him I just might be at his school working too....HA HA!!!!

Today my brother and Nephew came over to play and they had a blast outside with the neighbors kids. Hailynn is Caleb's girlfriend and I got a cute picture of the 2 of them...

We were just playing and we heard this LOUD rumbling noise and looked up and a Air Force Plane was flying VERY LOW over the houses...

Looking Straight up.....

And then we played ALOT more.....

Happy Late 59th Birthday Daddy!!!

OMG.... I am such a BAD daughter. I totally forgot to call my father on his 59th Birthday. I had a few things happen tonight and got side tracked. Had to get 4 punk ass children away from my son. They thought it was cool to corner him and threaten to beat him up. I was just glad Andrew ran back to the house to tell me. I guess they just didn't have anything fun to do. So I told them to stay away from my kids or I would be glad to call the police on them. Andrew had 2 handfuls of rocks ready to throw if needed to help his brother. Time will tell if they back off or not.

Back to the original reason for this blog, My dad. I have spent alot of time not living near him and I wish it wasn't like that. My parents divorced when I was young and Mom moved us kids to Colorado about a year after the divorce was final. From what I could remember it was not the nicest of divorces. My brother and I got to spend the school year with mom then off to Ohio for 2 months to stay with my dad. He always kept us busy with different things to do so we didn't get bored. I remember living in Montpelier and riding my bike over the MASSIVE bridge to get to the pool. But before we got to the pool we would stop in and see Dad at work. His shop was just over the bridge. Then he met my stepmother Geri and was married the fall of 1988. They bought a house out on County Road R in Pioneer and still live there after all these years. I met many wonderful people in Pioneer during my summers there. Still I am good friends with them...Rachel, Becky, Jenny and there are a few others.

If my father reads this I would like to tell him how much he means to me even being far apart for MANY years. It has abeen a long and wild road over the years and my love for him as only gotten stronger. I enjoy every minute we spent together even though we might not have always seem eye to eye. I love you Daddy and have a great 59th Birthday!!!!

Anthony and his day of beauty....

My Mom and I took the boys to get there haircut today. It was spikes all around for these guys. They love the way there hair looks spiked up and all. Andrew got his done 1st and was an angel the entire time. Anthony was in the middle of his haircut and Mom asked if he wanted highlights on his spikes. He said "YES!!!" So we got them done and it really turned out cute. Here are the pictures....not best pictures but used camera phone.....

Kids...UGH!!!!

Ok, I thought maybe after our little situation a few weeks ago with Anthony and missing school work was enough to scare him into buckling down and working harder. Well, Nope!!! I got a wonderful call from his teacher today informing me that he is missing 2 assignments and they just happen to be to top 2 biggest grades so far...UGH!!! As of the other day he was at a B for his Science class but is now at a D-. I have to yet again nicely ask his teacher to let him bring the Science book home Friday so we can get it all caught up yet again. He is now grounded till his grade comes back up. I told him if this continues, we may have to stop Chess....I think I really hit him hard with that. Time will tell and let's see what he can do.

They have a website so parents can check there grades and Attendance....

Andrew had his very first picture day at school Wednesday. I got him a dolled up and sent him off to school. When I picked him up at the end of the day his hair was ALL over the place. I just hope it survived to get the pictures done....If not Mommy took pictures of him before we left the house that morning. He's loving school still and even has a girlfriend. Oh,but according to Andrew "She's my part time girlfriend...Only during Breakfast and Lunch". Things that comes from a 5 year old, I will never understand it. She is a cute little girl. I will try and get a picture of them for my next post.

Ok....this is a sad blog :-(

I learned this week that a good friend of mine in Ohio has a sick little boy. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Saturday, August 30, 2008, from a bone marrow biopsy. They started his Chemotherapy on Sunday, August 31, 2008. They got to come home this weekend to be with his family.
Here is a new update from his mother:

Caden is HOME today!!! He will be able to spend the weekend with his family at home, and returns to the hospital on Monday, 9/8, for a follow-up spinal tap and bone marrow biopsy. He's been having chemo for a week, so they want to compare his bloodwork results. He continues to receive blood &/or platelet transfusions as necessary, until his body is able to maintain good levels on its own. His chemo treatments will continue every Monday for a month for now. He will have to wear a mask when he goes into public, but will be able to relax and be more comfortable at home.

Sweet little Caden needs some prayers for a quick recovery.........

Thank you guys, it means alot to me and his family....

Glad I thought of it cause tuesday night Uncle Chris and Caleb came up to see AJ play. It just so happens that they were short by 1 person and Uncle Chris offered to play someone....He got AJ. I just had to have a picture of that....

Even Caleb had to help his father....

And in the end AJ beat Uncle Chris...HA HA HA!!!!! He bragged all night about kicking Uncle Chris' butt....

Andrew and Brown Bear....

Friday as I was picking Andrew up from school he was carrying a little canvas bag with a teddybear looking out the top. He was all excited to tell me all about Brown Bear and how it was his turn to bring him home. Every child in class has the chance to bring him home for a least 1 day, but we got him on friday. He's one lucky bear to spend a 3 day weekend at our house. Today we got to read the book that Brown Bear came home with. I read it a few times and Andrew said he wanted to read it to me...AAAWWW. So I grabbed the camera and got a picture in plus a video of him reading....It's 2 cute!!! I hope you enjoy the story. I'm gonna watch it again so I can cry....I'm trying to get it to load on here but having troubles....
